ELLIS Corporation is proud to announce and welcome John Schultz as Director of Water Solutions for Ellis Corporation. Schultz will be responsible for aiding in sustainable product development as well as executive sales and account services.
He joins the ELLIS team from Ecolab Inc., headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ecolab is a global provider of water, hygiene, and energy technologies and provides services to the food, energy, healthcare, industrial, and hospitality markets. It was there that Schultz served in as senior manager for water, energy, and wastewater, for which he merited the Ecolab Textile Care Leadership Award over multiple straight years.
Schultz comes to ELLIS with 37+ years of experience in industrial water pollution control. Twenty-eight of those years were directly centered on wastewater treatment, water reuse, and recycle water systems for the industrial laundry sector. He has visited over 300 laundries globally, evaluating different technologies in the industry’s market segments.
In addition to Schultz’s experience, he holds a B.S. and M.S. in environmental science and serves as the co-chairman of the TRSA Environmental Committee. He was bestowed in 2014 with the Maglin Biggie TRSA Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honors that can be awarded to TRSA Allied Services members. He also serves on the UTSA Environmental Committee where he was co-chairman for 10 years. Schultz has authored numerous articles for industrial laundry trade publications and has presented papers at the World Textile Congress, TRSA Tech Summits, PMI and MMI Schools, Association for Linen Management (ALM), and WEF Member Associations.
